The University of Maiduguri has announced the postponement of its congregation election earlier scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025.
In a statement signed by the Electoral Committee, the exercise will now hold on Sept. 20, 2025, due to unforeseen circumstances.
The committee further disclosed that a mock election would be conducted on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, to enable members of the congregation to acquaint themselves with the process ahead of the main exercise.
It appealed to members for their cooperation and understanding, while regretting any inconvenience the postponement might cause.
