A 40 years old man identified as Riba Kwanta, has been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command for hacking his wife to death.
The suspect who hails from Bode in Shelleng LGA, killed his wife known as Godiya Akwale, and locked her up in the room and escaped to Ondo State.
He hacked the deceased whom he had married about 3 years ago on the 25th December, 2023.
The Spokesman of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, confirmed the arrest of the suspect on Wednesday, assuring that he will be charged to court for prosecution.
