The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has donated food items to physically challenged flood victims in Borno State through the Physical Challenge Borno State Chapter of the North East Disability Forum.
The Chairman, Physical Challenge Borno State Chapter, received the items on Saturday and distributed them to all beneficiaries.
The chairman expressed gratitude to the NEDC for its support, saying the gesture would alleviate the suffering of disabled flood victims in the state.
The donation is part of the NEDC’s efforts to cushion the effects of flooding on vulnerable populations in the North-East region.
