Numan Legislative Council has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Council Chairman, Honourable Innocent Koto on Monday.
The resolution to pass vote of confidence on the chairman is based on his democratic posture and developmental strides, Hapiyati Calvin told journalists.
Mr. Calvin, the Councillor representing Sabon Pegi and Majority Leader of the Council said Hon. Koto has demonstrated exemplary leadership and created an enabling environment for all the councillors in Numan.
The Legislative Council urged the chairman to sustain the tempo so as to deliver dividends of democracy to the good people of the area.
The Council also hailed Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the numerous projects executed by the Governor in the council which has enhanced grassroot development.
The Council equally expressed appreciation to the Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, Bachama Traditional Council, PDP State Chairman, Barrister AT Shehu, Hon. Kwamoti La’ori and Pwamwakeno Mackondo for always having Numan local government at heart.
The Numan ten(10)ward councillors affirmed their loyalty to the Chairman and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri led administration.
