NYSC Deploys 2,172 Corps Members To Bauchi

The National Youth Service Corps NYSC has initiated the deployment of 2,172 corps members to Bauchi State for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation exercise. Mrs. Rifkatu Yakubu, the NYSC Coordinator in the state, disclosed this information during an interview with the press on Tuesday in Bauchi.

Prospective corps members are scheduled to commence their registration on April 17 and conclude it by midnight on April 21 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wailo, situated in Ganjuwa Local Government Area.

The swearing-in ceremony for the prospective corps members is set for April 23, with the orientation exercise expected to conclude on May 7.

Yakubu emphasized that only duly certified graduates would be granted access to the camp, with rigorous screening procedures in place as part of security measures to prevent intrusion or impersonation.

She further highlighted the importance of strict adherence to all camp rules and regulations, cautioning that any violations would result in sanctions in accordance with the scheme’s existing rules.
