A Pastor at the Church of The Brethren (EYN) Moduganari in Maiduguri, Borno State, Vincent Alaku, slumped and died on Sunday while conducting a child naming and dedication ceremony.
An eyewitness told our correspondent that the incident occurred during the church service when the pastor was holding a microphone.
“The pastor was naming a child when he suddenly slumped and died,” the source said.
The church was thrown into confusion following the incident.
