
The Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) has announced the commencement of a screening exercise for candidates interested in its skills training programme across the 21 local government areas of the state.
In a statement on Wednesday, the agency urged all concerned individuals whose data had been captured during the recently concluded profiling to report to their designated screening centres for verification and subsequent examination.
According to PAWECA, the screening exercise will be conducted as follows:
Thursday, March 20 – Friday, March 21, 2025: Verification and screening from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 22, 2025: Examination from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The agency specified that applicants must be between 18 and 40 years old, possess at least an SSCE qualification, and have the ability to read and write.
Candidates are required to present their original credentials and relevant documents for verification.
PAWECA emphasized that the screening exercise is free of charge, warning applicants against making any financial transactions in relation to the process.
The agency reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and equal opportunities in the skills training programme.
