The Adamawa State Police Command, in collaboration with sister security agencies, extended its crackdown on violent crimes to the Northern Zone of the state on December 3, 2024.
The operation successfully disrupted a criminal network operating in Mubi North and Mubi South local government areas.
Four suspects were arrested during the operation and found in possession of offensive weapons. The suspects are:
1. Adamu Halidu (22 years), resident of Yelwa, Mubi North
2. Ahmed Ibrahim (23 years), resident of Lukuwa Ward, Mubi North
3. Sa’adu Haruna (24 years), resident of Tashan Gyela, Mubi South
4. Ahmed Haruna (23 years), resident of Nasarawo, Mubi South
The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), has directed a discreet investigation and diligent prosecution of the suspects to ensure sustained peace in the region.
