The Electricity Substation at the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park, Dadinkowa, Gombe, is nearing full completion, with key components such as the 132KV Bay Extensions Gantry Towers, beams, and other equipment successfully installed.
The remaining tasks, including interconnection and earthing works, are expected to be finalized soon, marking a significant milestone in the park’s development. The completion of the power infrastructure will provide a stable and independent electricity supply, eliminating a major barrier to industrial growth in the region.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya initiated the industrial park to drive economic growth, attract local and foreign investments, and create employment opportunities for the people of Gombe State and the northeast. With dedicated power infrastructure, the park aims to enhance productivity and position itself as a prime destination for industrial ventures.
The Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park is designed to host a variety of industries, including manufacturing, agro-processing, and light industrial enterprises. It is expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs, stimulate local economies, and reinforce Gombe State’s reputation as a leading industrial hub in the northeast and a top business destination in Nigeria.
