The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, has lauded three Deans for their dedication and service to the institution during the official presentation of new vehicles to them.
The beneficiaries are Professor Konto Adam, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences; Professor Hassan Zannah, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences; and Professor Abubakar Mu’azu, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Studies.
The presentation ceremony took place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building on the university campus.
Professor Mele congratulated the Deans for their hard work and commitment to the growth and development of UNIMAID. He said the gesture reflects his administration’s dedication to supporting effective leadership and promoting faculty development across the university.
“The presentation of these vehicles is a token of appreciation for the outstanding contributions of our Deans in advancing academic excellence and institutional development,” he said.
