The Federal Government has released the list of requirements for tertiary institution workers seeking to access its newly introduced interest-free loan.
Applicants are to provide their full name, date of birth, National Identification Number (NIN), Bank Verification Number (BVN), bank account details, and employment information. They must also upload a passport photograph, financial details such as gross pay, net pay after tax, and their take-home pay after all deductions, as well as their location and residential address.
Other mandatory documents include a copy of the appointment letter, staff identity card, a six-month bank statement, and a union membership confirmation letter. The bank statement must be in soft copy, no larger than 2MB, and free of password protection.
Authorities advise that due to the nature of the process, applicants may find it easier to complete the application at a cybercafé or on a personal laptop rather than a mobile phone.
