
The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, University of Oxford, has opened applications for the 2026 Reuters Institute Journalist Fellowship Programme, offering journalists from across the world a fully funded opportunity to advance their professional practice in the United Kingdom.
The fellowship, hosted at the University of Oxford, runs for a duration of three or six months and is designed to enable journalists undertake in-depth research, engage with global media leaders, and strengthen their reporting and analytical skills within a world-class academic environment.
According to details of the programme, most selected fellows will receive full funding, which covers programme fees, a £2,000 monthly allowance to support living costs, as well as travel and visa expenses. Fellows will also benefit from access to Oxford’s extensive academic resources, expert networks, and opportunities for professional development and global exposure.
