Taraba Gets Mobile Clinic as First Lady Redeems Health Pledge

Gov. Agbu Kefas of Taraba on Monday received a fully equipped mobile clinic donated by Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to boost primary healthcare delivery in the state.

Kefas said the mobile clinic would strengthen existing health facilities and improve access to medical services, especially for communities affected by distance and inadequate infrastructure.

He described the donation as a fulfilment of a promise personally made by the First Lady during her historic visit to Taraba in April 2025.

“This addition enhances our healthcare system and aligns with our administration’s vision of ensuring that no community is left behind due to lack of medical facilities,” the governor said.

Kefas, who received the facility on behalf of the people of the state, expressed gratitude to the First Lady for what he described as a humanitarian gesture that would have lasting impact on the wellbeing of residents.

He assured that the mobile clinic would be effectively deployed to underserved areas to improve healthcare outcomes across the state.
