Taraba Gov Approves Appointment Of Two 3rd Class Chiefs In Takum

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has approved the appointment of two 3rd Class Chiefs in Takum Local Government Area.

The nominations, endorsed by Takum traditional kingmakers, have been officially confirmed in a Press statement released by the Commissioner For Information and Re-Orientation Taraba State, Hon. Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo, on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024.

The newly appointed chiefs are HRH Uhwe Bala Ephraim, now designated as the 3rd-Class Chief (Tsohon Jukun Takum), and HRH Barr. Sopiya Ahmadu Gboshi III, appointed as the 3rd-Class Chief (Gar Chamba Takum).

These selections aim to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Takum and propel community growth forward. Both chiefs bring a wealth of experience and a strong dedication to their community.

Hon. Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo expressed her congratulations on behalf of Governor Kefas to the newly appointed Royal Chiefs.
