Taraba: Gov Kefas Appoints Head Of Civil Service

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has appointed Mr Paul Maigida Tino as the Head of Civil Service of Taraba State following the completion,submission and recommendation of The committee for the screening and recommendation of a qualified and suitable candidate for such position.

Paul Maigida Tino was born on 9th September, 1966 at Sabongida Tukura, Kurmi Local Government Area of Taraba State. He enrolled into Primary School at Sabongida Tukura in 1974 where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1980.

Thereafter, he gained admission into the then Government Teachers College, Gembu in Sardauna Local Government Area of the State in 1981. After two years at Teachers College Gembu, he was transferred to Government Secondary School, Baissa in 1983. He successfully sat for Government Science Secondary School examination and was admitted into form 3 at Government Science School, Donga in 1983. He completed and obtained his GCE in 1986.

The quest to further his education propelled him to sit for College of Agriculture, Jalingo exams where he secured admission and studied a course in Animal Health at Diploma level in 1989. He got employed into the Civil Service on 19h November, 1990 with a Diploma result as Livestock Superintendent on salary grade level 07 in the State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resource, Yola Gongola State.

After working for some years, he secured admission into Federal University of Technology Yola where he graduated with a Degree, Bachelor of Technology, Animal Science Fisheries and Range Management in 1999. After his studies, he was posted to Head Divisional Livestock office at Sunkani, Ardo-kola Local Government Area.

Thereafter, to head the Livestock unit at the Directorate of Food and Agriculture Rural Integrated (DFRI) Jalingo. When the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission (TSIEC) was created because
