Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, warmly received the delegation of Finland Mining, led by their CEO, Mr. Lassen Moulanen, in Jalingo on Wednesday.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the mining potentials in key areas of the State and explore opportunities for collaboration.
During the visit, the delegation identified various locations within the State and acknowledged Taraba as a blessed State with significant mineral resources.
Additionally, they engaged with the leadership of Taraba State University to strengthen cooperation in the field of education.
Governor Kefas emphasized that the choice of Finland Mining as a partner was deliberate, citing their strength as a driving force for the needed collaboration in the development of Taraba State. He expressed determination to harness the State’s strengths and opportunities for the benefit of the majority.
