Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has appointed 1,270 executive aides, according to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Gebon Kataps.
The appointees will serve in various roles, including special advisers, senior special assistants, special assistants, constituency special assistants, and members of boards, commissions, and agencies.
The appointments were made in four phases, with 573 names released on Monday and an additional 502 on Tuesday. This brings the total number of appointees to 1,270, including the 195 previously approved by the state government.
The appointees have not yet been assigned portfolios. The governor’s office stated that the appointments are aimed at strengthening the state government’s efforts to deliver quality services to the people of Taraba State.
