Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has inaugurated the Taraba State Investment Promotion Agency, Christian and Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, and sworn in four Special Advisers.
During the inauguration ceremony at the Exco Chambers on Tuesday, Governor Kefas pledged to provide a conducive environment for the appointees to utilize their skills and experiences, urging them to serve the people with dedication and compassion.
He reiterated his commitment to creating opportunities for the people of Taraba State and vowed to fulfill the state’s rightful needs under his leadership.
The Governor also addressed his plans for his second year in office, promising significant developments and warning against complacency.
He emphasized his stance on reducing fees in higher institutions and pledged to take decisive action against any violations of his directives.
Hon. Kabiru Jalo, speaking on behalf of the appointees, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the opportunity to contribute to the state’s development, assuring that they would work diligently to fulfill their responsibilities.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the visitation panel to Taraba State University, Prof. Josiah Sabo Kente, submitted their report, highlighting financial mismanagement issues from 2010 to 2023.
