Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, on Tuesday launched the Young Professionals Scheme to provide quality infrastructure and create jobs for youths in the state.
Kefas, while flagging off the scheme, said it would provide free, high-quality education and necessary infrastructure for primary and secondary schools.
“We are committed to building modern schools across the 16 Local Government Areas, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities,” he said.
The governor also initiated a youth training program on Hydraform Brick Moulding Technology, importing 45 machines from South Africa.
Commissioner for Education, Dr. Augustina Godwin, said participants were selected from all 16 local governments.
Abdulhakeem Usman of Hydraform International praised the governor’s vision, urging continued support for youth empowerment.
The event was attended by top government officials, including commissioners, special advisers, and dignitaries.
