Taraba’s Hidden Wealth in Tourism And Agriculture Holds Potential To Transform State’s IGR – Trade Ambassador

Dr Kefas Agbu, the Governor of Taraba State, on Tuesday received in audience, Prof Leslie D. J Rogers who is the Trade Ambassador and Special Advisor to Taraba State Government and his team at the Government house Chamber, Jalingo, Taraba State.

Speaking during the visit, Prof Rogers revealed that the state is seated on excess wealth as it relates tourism and agriculture if harnessed well will change the IGR of the state instantaneously. He further appreciated the Governor for the good reception he and his team have received so far.

Recalled that, under the auspices of Taraba State Ministry of Heritage and Ecotourism and Taraba State University, Jalingo through the commitment of Gov Kefas Agbu, the Professor and his team arrived Jalingo on 26th January, 2024 for the ongoing Diplomatic training on Ecotourism, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship for staff, students, Hotel Managers/CEOs, Board of Directors, and Commissioners.

The Governor in his usual receptive manner, welcomed the Professor who is a UN Diplomat and his team. Acknowledged his commitment to showcase the tourism potentials of Taraba State. He also expressed optimism towards the revival of tourism sector under his administration.
