Troops of the 6 Brigade of 3 Division, on Thursday, May 8, successfully cleared terrorist camps across locations in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce gun battle, forcing them to flee into surrounding forests. The operation was particularly successful in Kufai Amadu and Kasuwan Haske in Sati and Yade villages, restoring hope for lasting peace and security to the communities.
The terrorists, unable to withstand the superior firepower of the determined troops, abandoned their weapons and ammunition as they fled in different directions.
