Troops Eliminate Terrorists In Sambisa Raid, Recover Weapons

In a decisive move against terrorism, Nigerian Army troops engaged in counter-insurgency operations in the North East executed a successful raid on a terrorists’ camp in the Arra area of Sambisa Forest on Friday, March 8, 2024.

The operation resulted in the neutralization of 3 terrorists, including a suicide bomber, and the destruction of their base. Notably, troops recovered 2 AK-47 Rifles and a suicide vest during the operation.

In a separate mission, troops carried out a clearance operation in the Buluwa Area of Kukawa Local Government Area, Borno State, where they dismantled another terrorists’ camp.

During the operation, one terrorist was eliminated, and the troops seized one AK-47 Rifle, along with 14 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, a bicycle, food supplies, a grinding machine, and various other items.
