The Senate of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has confirmed the promotion of Dr. Amal Muhammad Abdulqadir to the rank of Professor.
The confirmation was made on Thursday, marking a significant milestone in her academic career and in the history of the Department of Arabic Language in the institution.
Abdulqadir becomes the first female professor of Arabic Language in the University of Maiduguri.
