The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, set to lunch the $617 million IDICE Program on November 4, 2024. Additionally, the application portal for Capacity Development and Infrastructure Support Grants will also open on the November 4, 2024.
Since the program’s launch in April, progress has been hindered by the continuing approval process with crucial funding partners, including the African Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, and the French Development Agency.
The process has been successfully concluded, paving the way for the subsequent phase. The Vice President, who holds the position of Chairman for the program, has now authorized the next steps.
The program is set to introduce a variety of opportunities for the creative and digital industries, representing a crucial advancement in achieving the program’s objectives and ensuring its full execution.
