Wedding Turns Tragic as Gombe Teenagers Kill Young Man

The Gombe State Police Command has arrested five teenagers for allegedly killing a young man during a wedding ceremony in the Pantami neighborhood.

The incident, which began as a verbal argument, escalated into a physical confrontation, ultimately leading to the tragic death of the victim.

Eyewitnesses reported that the dispute spiraled out of control, leaving the wedding festivities in disarray and the community in shock.

The suspects, aged between 16 and 19, were apprehended following a tip-off from concerned residents.

Confirming the arrests, the State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahmud Abubakar, said, “The suspects are in custody, and we have launched a comprehensive investigation. Justice will be served, and no perpetrator will go unpunished.”

The police assured residents that they are working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and to ensure the safety and security of the community.
