Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State revealed that within the next two years, his administration will expand and rebuild one hundred secondary schools across the state.
The Governor revealed this when he hosted the political stakeholders of Numan and Lamurde local government areas on a courtesy call in the Government House, Yola, Tuesday.
He reveals that out of the 3 Science Secondary Schools that will be built in the state by the government, one will be established in Lamurde, in addition to executing many projects in the Bachama land and the state as a whole
As a leader of the state, Governor Fintiri says he will continue to be just and fair to everyone, assuring his commitment to build a more prosperous Adamawa that the yet unborn generation will be proud of.
On the ongoing construction of Lamurde cottage hospital, Fintiri says the delay in completing the project was caused by a dubious contractor but says government has since taken measures to finish and furnish it.
He charged the people in Bachama land to promote peaceful coexistence in their respective communities and report any suspicious character within their vicinity to the security agencies nearest to them
The spokesman of the delegation, Mr Piton Power noted with happiness that Governor Fintiri has redefined the fortune of Adamawa for the better, making the state a bastion of hope and beacon of development.
He thanked Governor Fintiri for providing Cottage Hospital and township roads, electrification projects in Timmu and Opalo, restoration of peace in Lamurde among other notable achievements in Numan.
