Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has generously hosted and provided monetary assistance to 1000 orphans spanning all 17 local government areas in the state, ensuring they can partake in the upcoming Eid El Fitr festivities alongside their peers with living parents.
In a statement Signed by the Honorable Commissioner Ministry for Information, Home Affairs, and Culture, each of the 1000 orphan beneficiaries received N50,000 in support from Gov. Buni, reflecting his commitment to making this annual event a reality.
Ustaz Babagana Mallam Kyari, the Adviser on Religious Affairs, diligently oversees the outreach to orphans in every corner of the state.
This initiative forms part of Gov. Buni’s holistic approach to aiding the less privileged, including individuals with physical disabilities.
The governor emphasized that being an orphan is not a choice but a divine decree, underscoring the importance of governmental and societal support for these vulnerable individuals.
Gov. Buni urged those with the means to continue assisting orphans and the less fortunate, highlighting the act as not only a form of worship but also a crucial mechanism for fostering peace and stability within the community.
