The Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has paraded a group of suspects accused of various crimes, including armed robbery, kidnapping, rape, theft, and stealing.
During a press briefing at the Yobe State Police Command headquarters on Thursday, Police Commissioner Ahmed Garba revealed that the suspects were arrested in connection with 31 armed robbery incidents, 12 kidnappings, 55 homicides, and 115 theft offenses recorded in the first quarter of 2024.
The police also displayed three AK-47 rifles and assorted magazines recovered from the suspects.
Commissioner Garba stated that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed, demonstrating the police force’s commitment to tackling crime and ensuring justice for victims.
