Yobe Senator Demands Justice for Mafa Attack Victims

Senator Musa Mustapha, representing Yobe East District, has urged security agencies in Yobe State to apprehend and prosecute those responsible for the recent attack on Mafa village in Tarmuwa Local Government Area.

The attack, which occurred on Sunday, resulted in the killing of approximately 70 local farmers by suspected Boko Haram insurgents.

Senator Mustapha condemned the attack in strong terms, describing it as “barbaric,” “despicable,” and “an assault on humanity.”

He expressed shock and dismay at the extent of the killing and destruction, emphasizing that nothing justifies the murder of innocent citizens.

The senator prayed for the souls of the victims and condoled with their families, the government, and people of Yobe State.
