As part of efforts to ensure a successful Christmas celebration, the Yobe State government through the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has today flag-off the distribution of food items to 2,200 vulnerable Christian households across all the clutters in the state.

This is in line with the directives given by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni CON.

The Executive Secretary, YOSEMA Dr. Mohammed Goje revealed to our Correspondent during the distribution ceremony that the support of vulnerable Christians with Food Basket ahead of Christmas was aimed at creating relief for the celebrants.

“About 2,200 Households are expected to benefit from the Christmas Basket across the State through different clusters”, he added.
