Zulum Commissions Remodeled Taraba Green House Project

The Chairman of the North East Governors’ Forum (NEGF) and Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, on Saturday commissioned the remodeled and upgraded Taraba Green House Project in Jalingo.

The project was inaugurated at the close of the Forum’s meeting, hosted by Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State.

Speaking at the event, Zulum commended Kefas for resuscitating the Green House Project, describing it as a people-oriented initiative that would significantly contribute to societal development.

He noted that the project would not only enhance food production but also provide employment opportunities and promote agricultural innovation in the region.

In his remarks, Governor Kefas said the resuscitation of the Green House Project was part of his administration’s commitment to reviving key developmental projects in Taraba, stressing its importance in ensuring food security and economic growth.

The Green House Project, initially abandoned, has been upgraded to meet modern standards and is expected to play a vital role in boosting agribusiness in the state.
