Zulum Congratulates Dangote On Senegal’s National Honor

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, extended warm felicitations to Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on his receipt of Senegal’s highest national honor, “the National Order of the Lion,” from President Macky Sall.

Senegal instituted the National Order of the Lion Award on October 22, 1960, and it is awarded to both civilians and military personnel that have offered exceptional services to the country.

Zulum conveyed his best wishes to Aliko Dangote and said, “Senegal’s President honoring Alhaji Aliko is a testament to his dedication, perseverance and selfless commitment to the betterment of society and humanity.”

Governor Zulum highlighted Dangote’s significant contributions to the reconstruction of the educational facilities and homes destroyed by Boko Haram insurgents in Borno.

“Today, we celebrate not only a business tycoon but also a visionary leader who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the progress and prosperity of our beloved people,” Zulum said.
