Borno Governor, Babagana Zulum, his Lagos counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, will lead discussions at the 18th Africa Security Watch Awards and Conference in Qatar.
The conference, holding in Doha, Qatar, in December, aims to address Africa’s security challenges.
International Coordinator/CEO of Africa Security Watch, Patrick Agbambu, disclosed this at a press briefing on Monday.
According to Agbambu, the theme, “Developing Module for People-Centric Governance towards Enhancement of Peace and Security,” was chosen to tackle Africa’s insecurity challenges.
Zulum will deliver the keynote address, while Gen. Musa will speak on “Nexus between Citizens’ Socio-economic Development and National Defence.”
Agbambu emphasized that people-centric governance ensures peace, stability, and security.
The conference seeks practical solutions to Africa’s security challenges through expert discussions.
