Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has restated his administration’s dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy and enhancing the welfare of Islamic scholars.
Governor Mohammed made this statement while attending the 49th Annual Maulud Celebration in honor of Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass, held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi on Saturday.
Speaking at the well-attended event, the governor expressed gratitude to the organizers for hosting the celebration in Bauchi State and for their unwavering prayers for peace and progress in the state and Nigeria.
He underscored the importance of collaboration between the government and religious leaders in fostering unity, sustainable development, and social harmony.
The First Lady of Bauchi State, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, also commended the organizers for their efforts in promoting spiritual enlightenment and community growth.
Prominent Islamic scholars, including Sayyadi Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi and Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim Inyass, delivered inspiring speeches during the event. Sheikh Inyass particularly emphasized the values of unity, compassion, and interfaith understanding.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for continued peace, unity, and prosperity in Bauchi State and the nation at large.
