
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has advanced discussions on industrial cooperation as he hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Nigeria, Mr. Michał Cygan, on Thursday at the Bauchi State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
The meeting focused on exploring areas of mutual interest, particularly sectors where Bauchi State could benefit from Polish expertise, technology transfer and investment, with a view to adapting proven models to local realities.
Governor Mohammed said his administration was keen on leveraging international partnerships to accelerate industrial growth, create employment opportunities and expand the state’s economic base.
He reaffirmed the commitment of his government to learning from global best practices and strengthening diplomatic and economic ties that would position Bauchi State as a competitive and investment-friendly destination in Nigeria.
According to the governor, strategic collaborations with countries such as Poland are critical to driving sustainable development and unlocking the state’s vast economic potential.
