Applications have opened for the Renewed Hope FarmerMoni Scheme, with eligible small-scale and vulnerable farmers urged to register through the official portal of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).
The scheme, which operates under the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), provides zero-interest, collateral-free loans to support farmers across the country.
According to information on the official portal, FarmerMoni offers interest-free loans of up to ₦300,000 to smallholder farmers to enable them access seeds, fertilisers, equipment and other essential farm inputs.
The programme includes a three-month moratorium before repayment and covers beneficiaries across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
Officials advised applicants to register only through the verified RHGEEP website at https://geep.nsipa.gov.ng/ and to follow authorised platforms for accurate updates and guidance.
GEEP, a flagship initiative of NSIPA, is designed to promote financial inclusion and economic empowerment for smallholder farmers, petty traders, artisans and market women nationwide.
The programme says it has empowered more than 2.5 million Nigerians so far and processed over three million transactions.
Under FarmerMoni, priority is given to women, youth and other vulnerable groups, in line with the Renewed Hope agenda to strengthen grassroots enterprises and boost national growth.
GEEP also operates MarketMoni and TraderMoni to support micro and small-scale businesses across various sectors.
The initiative emphasises 0 per cent interest loans, zero collateral requirements and nationwide outreach as part of efforts to improve livelihoods, enhance productivity and strengthen communities.
