Fintiri unveils ARH226 movement to mobilise 226 wards for Tinubu

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has announced the formation of the Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement (ARH226M), aimed at mobilising grassroots support across the 226 wards of the state for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Fintiri, who disclosed this at the unveiling of the movement in Adamawa State, described the initiative as a fast-moving grassroots platform designed to unite supporters and strengthen political mobilisation at the ward level.

He said the movement would continue to expand until it delivers support from all 226 wards in the state to Tinubu, adding that the structure would run from ward to state levels.

According to the governor, he will serve as Patron of the movement, while the Deputy Governor will act as Chairperson alongside members of the State Executive Council, advisers, heads and members of boards and parastatals, Local Government Chairmen, Development Area Administrators, and all 226 Ward Councillors.

Fintiri called on all support groups associated with his administration and the Fresh Air political structure to merge into the new movement to strengthen its reach and effectiveness.

He also directed all political support groups aligned with the President or the ruling party in the state to collapse their structures into the movement as part of efforts to consolidate grassroots mobilisation.

The governor said the formal inauguration of the leadership and official launch of the movement was scheduled for next week, urging supporters of Tinubu within and outside the state to key into the initiative.

“Go back to your wards and pull out the votes for us. That is the only way to measure your value. We are not in this as tenants; we are in it as owners,” he said.

The governor expressed confidence that the movement would enhance political coordination and strengthen support structures across the state ahead of future political activities.
