The Vice-Chancellor, Yobe State University, Prof. Mala Mohd Daura, on Thursday, led a delegation to the Mai Idris Alooma Polytechnic, Geidam for resource verification of affiliated academic programmes. Daily Post Reports.
The varsity’s Director of Information, Uwani Mamuda, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Damaturu.
The programmes according to Mamuda include Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Management, Public Administration, Local Government Administration, Health Economics and Public Policy and Strategic Studies.
She said the Polytechnic’s management conducted an inspection tour of the physical infrastructure on the campus and interacted with academic and non-academic staff to assess the readiness of the institution.
Presenting the reports during an exit meeting, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized that the outcome of the visitation revealed the availability of required infrastructures, facilities, staff and a library.
He assured that the results of the exercise would be communicated to the Institution in due course.
