The Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, on Friday issued the certificate of return to Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida, the declared winner of the Jalingo-Yorro-Zing Federal Constituency. The issuance of the certificate marks the official recognition of Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida as the elected representative for the constituency.
Tafida, 32, who scored a total of 19,681 votes garnered from the rerun and supplementary polls held on Wednesday, was the son of the Emir of Muri, Alhaji Abbas Njiddah Tafida.
