Three Northeast Governors Receive Prestigious Awards for Excellence

On Saturday, at the Presidential Villa, Vice President Kashim Shettima presented awards to three Northeast governors on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in recognition of their exceptional performance and contributions to governance.

The ceremony, organized by the Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS), honored the governors for their remarkable achievements in urban renewal, governance, and health sector development.

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, was presented with the Award of Excellence in Urban Renewal by NEAPS. This marks the second national award bestowed upon him, solidifying his achievements in urban revitalization and renewal.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State received a Distinguished Award for Excellence in Governance and Health Sector Strides. The award recognizes his exemplary leadership and contributions to the health sector and governance.

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, was honored with an Award of Excellence on Urban Renewal by NEAPS. The award acknowledges his exceptional performance in urban revitalization and renewal, complementing his recent accolades.

The award ceremonies were attended by prominent dignitaries, including government officials, political leaders, and business tycoons.

The governors expressed their gratitude to NEAPS and reaffirmed their commitment to delivering transformative development initiatives that enhance the lives of their citizens.
