Adamawa state governor , Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has launched the second phase of state action plan, 2024-2026 of the Adamawa state Open Government Partnership OGP, during the state executive council meeting held at the government house Yola.
In his remarks while launching the state action plan,
Governor Fintiri thanked his cabinet members for putting in their best through the various MDAs for their efforts since the state keyed into the Open Government Partnership OGP in 2019 and ensured full compliance in execution for the betterment of Adamawa State.
According to the governor, this has helped the state in the areas of social inclusion, fiscal transparency, environmental and climatic change and access to information.
He added that this has no doubt helped the state to be rated third in the country and first in the North East region.
Earlier, while presenting the action plan to the governor, the Commissioner of Finance, Mrs. Augustina Wandamya explained that the OGP is aimed at fiscal transparency and the state government has maintained that in all its operations.
