Hundreds of Vulnerable Women in Gombe Receive 5,000 Tubers of Yam

Hundreds of women in Gombe, earlier today, benefited from the distribution of 5,000 tubers of yam in an initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities (PWDs) and widows.

The food distribution is part of ongoing efforts of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to alleviate hardship and provide relief to struggling households.

The excercise, held at the APC Square, was coordinated under the leadership of Alhaji Buba Sharif, alongside Alhaji Sani Garba (SSA General Duties), Sadiq S. Goro (APC State Secretary), and Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Bacas (APC State Organizing Secretary).

Speaking at the event, Alhaji Buba Sharif reiterated the commitment of Governor Inuwa Yahaya to addressing the needs of the less privileged, especially in this challenging time. 

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Governor Inuwa Yahaya, describing the gesture as timely and impactful, particularly in the face of the current economic challenges.
