
The Borno Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (BICTDA) has announced the commencement of its free digital skills and Artificial Intelligence (AI) training program for indigenes of Borno State.
The program, which runs from Feb. 26, 2024, to March 14, 2025, aims to equip participants with essential digital literacy and AI knowledge to enhance productivity, security, and career prospects.
According to a statement by BICTDA on Tuesday, the training is self-paced and open to all skill levels, including beginners, teens, seniors, parents, and educators.
The digital awareness course covers digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and practical technology skills, while the AI course introduces participants to modern AI applications, including chatbots and computer vision tools.
Participants will engage in interactive learning through hands-on exercises, real-world examples, quizzes, and instructional videos.
