Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Borno South Senatorial District, has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, pledging continued support for the governor’s leadership and policies.
Ndume made the declaration on Monday while hosting stakeholders from Chibok Local Government Area at his residence in Maiduguri, where he also presented relief materials to victims of the recent flood disaster.
The lawmaker donated 100 bags of rice, 100 bags of guinea corn, and financial assistance to cushion the impact of the disaster on affected families.
“Borno South has never had a governor who values and shares the resources of the state without discrimination. Governor Zulum’s interventions in Chibok and across the southern zone have surpassed expectations,” he said.
“As for me, Zulum is my governor, Zulum is my party. Wherever he goes, we will follow. I urge you all to stand firmly with him,” Ndume declared.
He said his decision to deliver the relief materials in person was to strengthen unity and demonstrate solidarity with Chibok people during their time of need.
Ndume also urged stakeholders to ensure fair and transparent distribution of the materials, while commending Governor Zulum’s prompt response to the flood disaster, which he described as humane and commendable.
Earlier, the Chairman of Chibok Local Government, Hon. Umar Madu, applauded Ndume for his consistent and selfless support to Chibok, describing his interventions as “beyond politics.”
Similarly, the APC Chairman in Chibok, Hon. Umar Ibrahim, assured that the relief materials would be distributed directly to affected victims.
The meeting ended with stakeholders pledging continued support for Governor Zulum’s administration and reaffirming their commitment to collaborative leadership with Senator Ndume.
