The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on Wednesday announced the temporary suspension of its recruitment application portal.
In a public announcement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj.-Gen. A.M. Jibril (rtd), the board said the suspension is part of ongoing efforts to optimise the efficiency of the recruitment system.
The affected portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, which handles applications into the four paramilitary services under the board, will be reopened on Monday, July 21, 2025.
“This development will ensure that the portal accommodates the high volume of applications while guaranteeing a smooth, transparent, and fair recruitment process,” the statement read in part.
CDCFIB expressed appreciation to Nigerians, especially the youth, for their enthusiasm and willingness to serve in the various paramilitary agencies.
The board reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and fair recruitment process.
