
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba has declared its resolve to work in unity toward securing victory in the 2027 general elections.
The decision was reached at a stakeholders’ meeting held in Abuja and led by Sen. David S. Jimkuta alongside other frontline leaders of the party in the state.
Prominent among those in attendance were Sen. Abubakar Sani Danladi (Talban Muri), Hon. Ibrahim Tukur Elsudi, Sen. Joel Danlami Ikenya, Barr. Uba Maigari, Amb. Jika Ardo, Hon. David Abel Fuo, Chief (Dr) David Sabo Kente, Hon. Jerry Manwe, Hajia Zainab Ibrahim (APC Deputy National Women Leader, North), Hon. Sani Kona, Hon. Aminu Babale (Matawallen Mambila), AIG H.H Karma (rtd), Hon. Abubakar Barde, Hon. Sule Yakubu Andenati, and Hon. Mohammed Tsoken, among others.
Speaking after the meeting, Kente said the party had put past disagreements behind it and was now focused on unity and victory.
“We have buried our differences and healed our wounds. We are now one indivisible APC family. 2023 taught us lessons, but 2027 will witness our triumph. Whoever emerges from our primaries will carry the flag of a united, unstoppable APC,” he said.
Other leaders at the meeting emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization, strengthening party structures, and spreading the message of unity across all wards and polling units in the state.
The meeting ended with chants of solidarity as party members reaffirmed their determination to reclaim Taraba and provide purposeful, people-driven governance.
