In a groundbreaking move to boost agricultural development and youth empowerment, the Adamawa State Government has launched a demonstration farms initiative across the state.
Under the leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the project aims to establish demonstration farms in each of the 21 local government areas (LGAs), covering approximately 300 hectares of land per LGA.
The initiative seeks to empower young farmers by providing them with:
– Access to land
– High-quality seedlings
– Essential agrochemicals
– Comprehensive extension services
– Other crucial support
This innovative approach to agricultural development is expected to foster youth engagement and unlock the potential of the agricultural sector in Adamawa State.
