Adamawa Police Arrest Two Suspects Over Abduction, Murder Of 6-Year-Old Boy

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the abduction and murder of a 6-year-old boy, Eboka Edwin, in Tudun Wada, Ganye Local Government Area.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the suspects, Muktar Mohammed and Hussein Suleiman, both 20 years old and residents of Bashin Village, Yoro Local Government Area, Taraba State, confessed to kidnapping the victim and demanding a ransom of N10 million from his father, Edwin Eze.

The suspects further confessed to killing the victim by inflicting severe injuries with a knife and burying his body in a shallow grave in a forest along the Nigeria-Cameroon border.

The Police Commissioner, CP Dankombo Morris, has commiserated with the family of the deceased and assured that the suspects will be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted.

The Police recovered three handsets from the suspects and are working to ensure that justice is served in this case.
