
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, fixing the presidential nomination form at ₦100 million and governorship form at ₦50 million.
According to the timetable, the sale of nomination forms will take place at the APC National Secretariat from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The party also outlined dates for its primary elections across various elective positions.
The presidential primary election is scheduled to hold from Friday, May 15 to Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Other primary election dates released by the party include:
House of Representatives: Monday, May 18, 2026
Senate: Wednesday, May 20, 2026
State House of Assembly: Thursday, May 21, 2026
Governorship: Saturday, May 23, 2026
The APC further disclosed the cost of nomination forms for different offices.
The breakdown shows that aspirants seeking seats in the State House of Assembly will pay ₦6,000,000, while those contesting for the House of Representatives will pay ₦10,000,000.
Similarly, the nomination form for the Senate was fixed at ₦20,000,000, while the Governorship form will cost ₦50,000,000.
The party stated that the Presidential nomination form will cost ₦100,000,000, making it the highest among all elective positions listed in the timetable.
The release of the timetable signals the commencement of preparations by the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
