
The MTN Foundation, in partnership with the Bank of Industry (BOI), has opened Loan applications for the MTN Y’ellopreneur 3.0 programme, a ₦1 billion matching-fund initiative aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
The programme is designed to empower women running small or growing businesses by providing access to single-digit interest loans of up to ₦5 million to expand their operations.
According to organisers, 200 female entrepreneurs will benefit from the initiative, which also includes business training and mentorship support to strengthen sustainability and growth.
Eligibility requirements
To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following conditions:
Be a woman entrepreneur
Be a Nigerian citizen
Own a business that is already operational, preferably for at least two years
Operate within eligible sectors such as agriculture, ICT, manufacturing, or services, including hospitality, retail, logistics, health, and education
Have a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
Own at least 51 per cent of the business, where it is co-owned
Be willing to participate in training and mentorship sessions

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the MySMEVille portal, where they can also access further details about the programme and other funding opportunities.
